Alfred García is a Spanish singer-songwriter, composer and instrumentalist who with his 21 years, knows the music world very well since childhood.

From the age of 7 he plays the trombone and sings, and has also learned to play guitar, drums and keyboard in a self-taught way.

With only 15 years he released his first album produced by himself, entitled ‘Beginning’. With 17, thanks to the musical and cultural project ‘La Capsa’, he recorded his first single, ‘She looks so beautiful’, composed by him and produced by the Argentinian musician Esteban García, with whom he won the audience prize at the Cara B festival.

In 2016 he auditioned for the fourth edition of ‘La Voz’ performing ‘Waiting on the world to change’ by John Mayer. That same year he released his second album titled ‘Inblack’, this time in acoustic format, and began his tour through many concert halls of the Catalan territory and participation in several festivals with other artists.

His great opportunity came in 2017 thanks to the talent show ‘Operación Triunfo’, in which he got to be one of the five finalists, remaining in fourth place, and being chosen to represent Spain at Eurovision 2018 with the song ‘Tu canción’ together to his partner Amaia Romero. In May of 2018, ‘Tu canción’ achieved a platinum record with sales over 40,000 copies sold.

He is currently involved in his first album, which is scheduled to be released at the end of 2018 and which will be titled ‘1016’ in honor of his casting number in ‘Operación Triunfo’.

After the great reception, in parallel has announced the beginning of its ‘1016 Is Coming Tour’ that will start on July 20 at the SHARE Festival in Barcelona.
