Born to a family immersed in music and the arts, Alice Amelia took to the creative path with arms wide open. As well as having classical training on the piano, Alice was taught by her Father (professional violinist for the London Royal Opera House orchestra) on the violin from the age of 6. The solid musical roots were set, guiding Alice to her early teen years where she soon found a voice to express music in her own way.
At the age of 14 using a cheap stage microphone and basic music production software, she began experimenting with lyrics and melodies over famous pop instrumentals and showcasing them on the then-ever-popular MySpace. Alice was writing and recording every day to anything and everything; pop, drum & bass, acoustic, hip hop, house, UK garage, while connecting with producers from around the world online. Her obsession with writing and recording vocals was becoming more than just a hobby after having a track signed in 2008 by UK Garage producer/DJ Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown (One Tuff Music).
While playing regular gigs in local music venues and honing in her performance and writing skills, Alice studied performing arts, musical theatre, music and songwriting at college. With this she soon began making a name for herself; chosen to perform at both the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, as well as supporting Ellie Goulding back in 2009, along with airplay on radio stations such as BBC 1Xtra, BBC 6 radio & BBC Introducing. Alice's most recent musical ventures have included performing on stage at Beach Break Live '13, Glastonbury Festival 2013 and a track signed by Toolroom Records ("Hold On" - PACT feat. Alice Amelia).
Continuing to work alongside a host of producers, Alice Amelia is currently writing, recording and independently releasing an EP titled "11", due for release in 2014 which is set to be released with a music video.
