Alison Hill’s most recent poetry collection, Sisters in Spitfires (Indigo Dreams, 2015), commemorates the women who flew with the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) during the Second World War. She has given readings at a range of festivals and venues, including next to a Hurricane at Brooklands Museum and from a Sunderland flying boat at Solent Sky Museum. Alison ran Rhythm & Muse events in Teddington and Kingston for ten years and was Kingston Libraries’ first Poet in Residence.
