ANTI VIGILANTE are a four piece skacore mash up from Milton Keynes, UK.
Since forming in 2004 the band has played extensively across the UK alongside the likes of Random Hand, The Flatliners, Ghost of a Thousand and Sonic Boom Six as well as embarking on UK wide tours with The Skints, We Are The Union, The JB Conspiracy and Dirty Revolution.
Their style owes as much to low strung hardcore noise as it does to the UK skacore scene that came before them, creating a dynamic that shows potential to achieve a great deal in their genre.
ANTI VIGILANTE released their debut album “Secure Beneath the Watchful Eyes” to resoundingly positive feedback from both gig goers as well as various zines. They look set to build upon the reputation they’ve forged in the UK underground with the release of their second album to be recorded at the end of 2011.
ANTI VIGILANTE took the first half of 2011 out to recover from the passing of Drummer Oli Smith. Driven by the loss of both a band mate and best friend ANTI VIGILANTE are back with greater determination and conviction and ready to hit the road harder than ever. They will be touring throughout the UK with Voodoo Glow Skulls, Random Hand and JB Conspiracy as well as playing numerous dates with the likes of Capdown, Leftover Crack and Strung Out.
