Bart Rose
Born in 1984 in Aleksandrow Kujawski, Poland. Started playing his first musical instrument at the age of 6, which was a flute. He was a member of a school choir and a vocal soloist between the age of 9 and 11. At the age of 14 Bart started playing the guitar, as he was hugely influenced by the local scout group. He quickly fell out of love of guitar and started taking interest in drums, and got his first drum-set for 18th birthday. He then went abroad for an academic year in the USA, where he heard trancy drum music performed by Safri-Duo for the first time. Fell in love with it instantly. This was the time when Tiesto and Paul van Dyk were really rocking it in Trance scene with their melodic/vocal approach and their influence is still heard in his sets. On return to Poland in 2001 he and Slaw Farb were listening sets from Love Parade almost constantly all summer. Not long after, he was introduced to a group of DJ’s from the legendary ArtCafe club in Torun, including Tom Ranx – a group of people who opened his eyes to more techy genres of electronica and allowed him to take his first steps in dj mixing, which he’s doing on a regular basis since 2007.
