Forging richly textured live sets which draw on drone, free improvisation, ambient, avant dream pop, noise and folk traditions, the music of Scottish raconteur Bell Lungs is often cinematic in scope, featuring electric violin, omnichord and a range of wild and wonderful noise toys, all wrapped around mesmerically shifting vocals. Fiercely DIY, Bell Lungs has been permanently on the road for the past few years, performing widely across Europe, often collaborating with dancers, artists, poets and theatre-makers. She has recently performed at Supernormal 2019, Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2019 and Edinburgh Art Festival 2019. Prepare to be transfixed.
