Though formed in 1979, Berlyn definitely had their best year in 1982 when they recorded their first demo and were doing rounds in the London Pub Circuit. They had some prestigious gigs such as the Hitchin Regal, where they headlined one week and Thin Lizzy the following week. They also had some radio play for the demo on a local radio station. The band split up in March 1983 because of musical differences.
