Born and brought up in Austria he started playing the drums at an early age and soon discovered his passion for Indian music. After many years of studies in India with tabla master Pandit Suresh Talwalkar and percussion legend Trilok Gurtu, Bernhard embarked on a journey of bringing together these sounds with his Western roots.
