'Tether' is the debut EP by Big Fin, the principle musical vehicle for Matthew Reynolds. An incredibly prolific songwriter (rumoured to have written over 250 songs), the songs that make up 'Tether' have been taken from a wealth of material recorded in 2012 after years working behind the scenes as a guitar teacher, producer and guitar tech.

Rough demos of this material were circulated amongst friends and after much encouragement, Reynolds set about fervently recording songs and performing as much as possible, both solo and with a band of talented friends helping to bring his honest, fierce and poignant songs to life.

Recorded mostly at home (a piano or drum kit won't fit in his flat), the recording of 'Tether' was aided by Neil Kennedy at The Ranch Production House and mixed and mastered by Peter Miles at Holne Bridge Studios.
