Bill Oddie (born 7 July 1941) from Rochdale, England is a popular British TV personality and well known ornithologist. Before his TV and acting career, he tried his hand at becoming a pop star in 1966, releasing various singles and one album, much to little chart success. His singles started to parody other popular hits which, in part, led him to become a member of 1970's BBC comedy act, The Goodies, with Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor.
