biomechanoid is a project of producer Colin Fraser, focusing mainly on various styles of electronic dance music. Over the years biomechanoid has recorded and released numerous albums, mainly on his own UCN label. Ranging in style from psychedelic electronica, thru techno-trance to drum and bass, biomechanoid's style is constantly evolving, paying little attention to trends and fashions. biomechanoid has worked with a wide range of collaborators, and his other projects include Holistic Systems, Atom Flask, Sleepy Tiger, Wormhole, Ammonite, Unknown Entity, Golden Apple Corps and Skylight.

biomechanoid has performed live regularily, at free parties, festivals and club nights, often incorporating multimedia elements and various collaborations into the set.
