Alt. folk/dreampop trio Bird have rapidly become one of the most talked about bands in Liverpool over the past few months. The groups dark, spell-binding tracks have won huge local acclaim, earning comparisons with Warpaint and Kate Bush.
Their second EP Shadows released last September garnered the trio serious attention across the UK including the support of BBC Radio Ones Rob Da Bank and BBC 6 Musics Radcliffe and Maconie.
The three-piece have also won a high-profile fan in the shape of one of their primary influences Simon Raymonde, formerly of The Cocteau Twins, now of Bella Union records who praised them, Bird are fantastic and they're destined for great things, we know that already.
Birds eagerly anticipated new EP, 'Ophelia' is released on 11 February and is produced by former Coral lead guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones who last year released applauded debut solo album If... and helmed the acclaimed first album from By the Sea.
