Blackheart Afterglow was born in the tail end of September 2010, bursting straight out of the murky soup that small town stockpots hold fast, each player, ready for change, was standing there at the right time. The band are raw, ready, without constraint, and with an already impressing catalogue of original tunes that ‘they’ say sound as if you already know The Blackhearts are set to sail.
In 2011 the band gigged extensively throughout the North of England at some of the areas most celebrated live music venues as headliners and as support to touring bands. Blackhearts won the Ma Murphy's BotB in the summer of 2011 in-between recording two EP's : Pressure.Crash.7 and Too Much Blood. These EP's have allowed the band to reach a new audience culminating in the boys being booked for 4 festivals (at time of writing) for 2012.

The band will be shooting a promo video for Too Much Blood this Spring with Scot Davidon.
