Blaise Thresher has been writing thoughtful, sensitive pop songs for nine years and singing for even longer. The second of four daughters, she was born in 1995 in Surrey on theout skirt s of London. Although she grew uplistening to Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Beyonce and Prince, her unique style of music is purely her own and drawn from her own experiences.
“The songs I write come from within me. They are my honest feelings. I use writing to take my mind off things and to release myemotions. Writing helps to keep me calm”
Blaise has a talent for turning the traditionalteenage subjects of boys, love, having fun, going out and friendship, into beautiful and sometimes haunting music that is both touching and memorable.
”Most of the songs I write are about the sort ofthings that every teenage girl is thinking of. I guess not everyone turns these thoughts into pop songs but for me it has always been a part of my life. Singing and sharing my feelings feelscompletely normal to me.”
Blaise is only just 16 years old but already she has enjoyed her first professional record deal, 'Pretty boy' by Miss Melody featuring Blaise which will be released on Dutch label N.E.W.S this February 2012.
She is also developing her own album with No Prisoners Productions and is managed by James Winchester of No Prisoners Records and Robert Davies, MD of Click Media Entertainment, both of which are established players within the UK and European music scene and both signed to Notting Hill Music Publishing.
Blaise's, voice, looks and songwriting talent mean that it is only a matter of time before the rest of the music industry starts to sit up and takenotice. Blaise is THE hot prospect of 2 0 1 2 so watch this space!!!!
