Biography

Blood Sport comprises a hatrick of pale, fiesty individuals equipped with musical toys and ready to, in the words of the band themselves, "raise the flipping roof" at any given moment.

One plays baritone guitar, one plays normal guitar and the other plays gui-drums: he plays drums. Their first spunktuous release is on cassette via The Audacious Art Experiment on the 22nd of October.

They claim to be "influenced by Africa" and, aim to make "music" (again, their words) for broad sections of the population to listen to: "we'd love to be able to provide music for people to listen to across the county, hell, maybe even the country - I mean, there's no harm in dreaming right? If we didn't set goals we wouldn't get anywhere".

...Dabbling in improv, and generally "putting themselves about" (from the band themselves) the band have been known to take off their shoes on stage. Don't even put them back on.

*That last line is as much a recount of recent events as it is a warning to all prospective listeners and promoters*
