Calvinball is a bad idea made worse by dumb persistence.
Since coming into existence in Sheffield in late 2005, the band has been hemorrhaging money travelling Great Britain, Europe and the USA in search of truth, freedom and free alcoholic drinks. During that time they have released five records with the likes of The Dauntless Elite, Caves and Rumspringer on such prestigious UK labels as Not Shy Of The DIY and Records or it didn't Happen and toured with some of the best bands Britain has to offer. You wouldn't have heard of any of them though. Don't worry about it.
In November 2011, Specialist Subject Records is due to release a split 12" from Calvinball, ONSIND and Apologies, I Have None. Each band has covered a song by the other two bands and the records is set to break all vinyl sales records.
Calvinball is currently writing their debut full length album, out early next year.
