Carnations formed in Manchester in January 2009 following the union of Andrew with the already established group of instrumentalists Phill, Don and the two Richards. Andrew's distinctive & recognisable voice immediately lent itself to the diverse range of sounds that the group was creating and Carnations have been honing their sound ever since.
