Biography

Carolines are a 4-piece indie rock band from Cardiff taking inspiration from Catfish and the Bottlemen, Stereophonics, The Smiths & Arctic Monkeys. Their debut single '18' received praise from BBC Radio Wales presentor Adam Walton, calling it "a ready-made classic".

Smooth indie rock paired with melodic riffs and story-telling lyrics captures the essence of the bands sound - combine that with their live performance - and you have a party. Louise Schofield of Unique Lullaby recently reviewed Carolines' Track 'Blow The Gasket' from their debut EP:

"This record is soaked in aesthetically British songwriting, it's an anthemic set ender with electric force. The chorus is a roaring crowd pleaser, amplified by Ashley's gritty exclamations. Its a greatly produced and arranged track, with an anticipating build towards the end with spine tingling apprehension during a slight gap before preparing to howl the chorus for the final time. Absolutely slamming track to finish an excellent debut EP".
