Cascavel are a freshly formed Desert Blues band from Sheffield, drawing their influences from 21st century pioneers such as Jack White, The Black Keys and John Mayer, fused together with timeless legends like Eric Clapton, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix.
Their sound focuses heavily on shifting dynamics, creating huge choruses with rip-roaring guitars and powerful drums, but also providing intimacy with stripped back melodies and irritatingly catchy hooks.
Formed in 2018 and making their live debut at the beloved Tramlines festival last July, Cascavel have been hidden under the radar ever since, writing new material and preparing a live show to impress new listeners.
