Cat Apostrophe started as a sad solo project by Kirsty Fife (Actual Crimes, Suggested Friends) in 2016. In 2016 the band built into a full five-piece band with Jack William, Julia Downes, Kate Stonestreet and Alex Shaw. Since then they've supported bands like Doe, Two White Cranes, Garden Centre, Porridge Radio and Nachthexen. They are based in Leeds and Sheffield and like sad songs and eating food.
