Emerging from the backstreets of North Perth, Western Australia, Cat Black concoct a sexy mélange of swampy garage blues and sweet country sounds in songs of love and dejection. Over the last couple of years, the four-piece have cultivated and refined their sound, their live shows earning the respect of local audiences, fellow musicians, and local media alike. Cat Black’s debut release Love is Gone (2009) has received excellent reviews, and was a feature album of both Drum Media streetpress and local radio station RTRfm.
