Cate Cody sings Jazz from the American Songbook, influences include Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Julie London, Anita O'Day, Mildred Bailey, and Blossom Dearie. She is based in Gloucestershire, UK and sings as a duo with a pianist, or up to a 6 piece band with vocals, piano, double bass, drums, saxophone/clarinet and guitar or vibes. Cate performs at a variety of top events including weddings, parties, restaurants and corporate functions, she also sang at the BAFTA Television awards. Cate's swinging band features some of the UK's top players who have worked with most of the UK's finest singers and musicians including Acker Bilk, Stacey Kent, Imelda May, Bryan Ferry and George Melly.
