Chai For All is led by veteran trumpeter David Mowat, once in Bristol’s legendary Klezmernauts. They bring together Yiddish songs , middle-eastern folk and jazz-tinged klezmer classics. Chai For All's other band members are: Dutch chanteuse Marianna Moralis, German oud and guitar player Knud Stuwe, Anglo-Austrian Katie Stevens on clarinet, kaval and zurna, British-Israeli Mark Smulian on bass and electronics and Saudi Arabia-born Simon Leach on guitar, oud, darbuka and other percussion. Chai are also available as a 2- 3- or 4-piece. A “highly skilled†and “class act†notes 24/7 columnist Tony Benjamin.
As Chai For All has been project-focused this last 2 years and not made an album until now, it does not have a soundcloud/youtube channel. This will change summer 2018!
