UK Pop Songstress Channy is proving increasingly popular on the festival circuit, with her powerful vocals striking a chord within the music scene. Her down to earth ‘girl next door’ personality shines through both on and off stage and this is only one of the attributes, which has drawn a rapidly growing, loyal fan base her way.
Her commercial, energetic vibe has landed her some impressive support slots for artists such as Jess Glynne, Sigala, Olly Murs, Nathan Sykes, Scouting for Girls, Tulisa and many more.
By December 2018 Channy had made history with 'The Unstoppable Concert', becoming the first unsigned artist in the world to headline her hometown arena. The community initiated concert was created and founded by Channy herself and she designed the model with the objective of inspiring talented youngsters and providing them the opportunity to perform on one of the UK's most famous stages, all whilst aiming to make a positive change in the community by filling the arena seats with disadvantaged families from under privileged backgrounds.
As an independent artist Channy has hit the spotlight on some of the UK's most established stages, performing at Metro Radio Arena, Bents Park, O2 Arena London, and headlined her own sold out show at the O2 Academy Newcastle's MAINSTAGE, as well as sold out UK tour.
Channy's festival season throughout the course of the past few years has seen her grace the stages of over 50 Pride festivals, which has included travelling internationally, to perform at Winter Pride, Maspalomas in Gran Canaria. She is consistently booked for popular family, charity and private festivals across the Country and has most recently featured on the line up of Klub Kids Summer Mania festival alongside Atomic Kitten and more, at Newcastle’s Virgin Money Unity Arena, which is the worlds first ever socially distanced arena.
