Biography

The ‘Chapels’ project is formed of George Dunne (Vocals/Guitar), Jack Reid (Drums) and Connor Newton (Bass) a mismatched trio who met during ‘jamming sessions’ back in 2013. The band who jokingly stated that they’re ‘the three piece band who tries too hard to be grunge’ landed themselves Essex-based live shows after voluntarily performing in their friends back gardens during house parties. Recently supporting Demon Wolf at The Hermit in Brentwood, Chapels will return to The Essex Arms on Friday 6th March with friends Kaneda. In the middle of recording their upcoming EP - Chapels promise to premier ‘new tracks & new sound’ in their hometown. Influenced by some of the worlds most loved rock bands, Chapels also explore anarchy, corruption in society and anti-monarchy in their material; not only putting on a good show, but raising a lot of questions.
