Hailing from London, now living in Bristol, Charli has spent the last six years embedding herself in the underground music scene as an established vocalist. 2017 marked her second year to be nominated for 'Best Vocalist' at the DNBA Awards alongside a string of digital & vinyl releases and the beginning of Charli's DJ and live vocal sets.
Amassing releases on labels including @deepheads, @anttc1 & @critical-music, 2017 saw Charli host for a selection of artists including @drumandbassi (Flexout Audio) & @total-science (CIA). Her vocal sets promise soulful, emotive melodies and empowering lyrics, while her DJ sets drift between deep, sultry rollers and dark, minimal cuts.
Working as an editor at London's In-Reach Magazine and Marketing Assistant at the Bristol Bass Choir & Shotgun Sessions; the scope of Charli's passion for music reaches far beyond the realms of performing.
A passionate social activist, Brix divides her time between various projects aimed at encouraging young people, particularly females, to get involved in the industry. Her main ventures include running events & performing as one quarter of female fronted bass collective KCDC and working in partnership with Groundsound, RTP & Shotgun Barbers to present a weekly drum and bass night - Shotgun Sessions - promoting an encouraging space in which to connect and progress with like-minded DJs and music lovers.
