Starting out as the bedroom solo project of London-based Nathan Ernest Hewitt, CHEATAHS soon became a fully-fledged four-piece after the Canadian-born multi-instrumentalist recruited three friends: James Wignall on guitar, Dean Reid on bass and Marc Raue on drums.
Summer 2009 saw the release of the limited edition debut 7” on Young And Lost Club Records as well the cassette only EP “Magic Weapons” on Paradise Vendors Inc (both sold out). Last summer, a Marshall Teller Records four-way split 7” featuring CHEATAHS, Dignan Porch, Colours and Not Cool was released to much acclaim. CHEATAHS are set to record their debut album later this year.
