China Rats formed in Leeds in the Summer of 2011. They released their debut EP 'To Be Like I' in April 2012 and quickly earned the attention of BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens, which resulted in a spot on the BBC Radio 1 Introducing Playlist with an anthem called N.O.M.O.N.E.Y. '(At Least Those) Kids Are Getting Fed' the follow up single received airplay on BBC Radio 1, XFM, BBC 6 Music amongst others and was Single Of The Week on hugely influential French Music Magazine Les Inrockuptibles.
