Biography

Chloe Marriott is an 18-year-old modern blues artist hailing from the home of the Thames Delta Blues; Canvey Island. She plays the blues her way - sometimes twelve bars, sometimes not! But always with a big nod to her influences of Memphis Soul, R&B, and artists such as Hendrix and Nina Simone.

Following her recent recording session, featuring an all-star line up including Mark Saunders on bass (Florence and the Machine) and produced by Snowboy, she is currently causing a stir within the music industry with her unique voice, guitar playing and unorthodox, instantly memorable songs – A deal will be forthcoming for sure.

Chloe returns to Village Green in 2015, ‘graduating’ from last year's appearance on the Youth Stage, where she cut her festival teeth. She’s soon to be the subject of a short documentary charting her rise, so watch out for possible film cameras at the festival!
