Chris Hanna is a true product of the DIY ethos of house music in 2013. Snapped up by Belfast house label Extended Play shortly after beginning his production career, Hanna has been a staple part of the Extended Play family since. As well as featuring heavily in the Extended Play label parties around the UK in hotspots such as Liverpools Shipping Forecast and Dublin’s Pygmalion, the strength of Chris’ steady output off his own bat has seen him notch up air miles to Glasgow’s legendary Sub Club as well.

As well as steady club performances around the UK, Chris’ proficiency as a producer have found him receive accolades from the UK’s national BBC Radio One, with Rory McConnell supporting a number of his tracks on his ‘Introducing’ Radio show, demonstrating that despite his firm underground appeal, Hanna’s sound is more than accessible. Continuing to channel the rawer side of house, with more than a slight nod to techno, Chris’ demand maintains high, with remix requests coming in from Stripped Recordings and Made Fresh Daily, as well as continued original material on Extended Play.
