Chris is currently on a sell-out tour of his second solo stand-up show, ‘Offermation’, which received a ‘Best Show’ nomination from the hugely prestigious Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards (previously the Perrier Awards) at last year’s Edinburgh Festival - a follow-up to his 2010 Edinburgh debut ‘Aggrophobic’.
With appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia (Sky Atlantic), The Mad Bad Ad Show (Channel 4), Show & Tell (E4), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), Argumental (Dave), Comedy Rocks (ITV1) and Richard Bacon’s Beer And Pizza Club (ITV4), Chris has experienced a meteoric rise to the top of the comedy circuit since being a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards and the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year competition in just 2009.
As well as live and television appearances Chris is fast becoming a familiar voice on the radio, with regular guest slots on Radio 1’s Review Show and 5Live’s Seven Day Sunday, interviews on Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio Show and as a mentor on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Stand Up For Comic Relief’. He has recorded a special half-hour version of ‘Offermation’ for Radio 4 which will be broadcast on 22nd March.
In April he will begin work on ‘Hebburn’ a new sitcom for BBC2 in which he plays the lead. He is also working on his new solo show which will debut at the Edinburgh Festival in August.
