Chuck Daniels has been an apex of the Detroit dance music scene for decades. Whether it’s been behind the decks or behind the scenes, he has had his hand in hundreds of parties since the late 80's. There are few clubs in Detroit he hasn’t played or hosted one of his famous Love The D or Sampled parties at. He's booked some of the greats over the years, including Green Velvet, Mark Farina, & Derrick Carter. Sought out for his unique style of house music, Daniels has performed across North America and Europe, including the infamous Ministry of Sound nightclub, H20 in France, Fiasco parties in Glasgow, Scotland and Soulfully Yours in the Netherlands. Despite his worldwide appeal, Chuck has never forgotten about home, always eager to perform at clubs and parties in his hometown of Motown, and has held residencies at the legendary Motor Lounge, Porter Street, and The Temple.
Chuck has made a major impact in the House music scene with highly regarded releases and remixes on a number of labels, including Warner Brothers, Industry Standard, OM, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Classic, Robsoul, Guest House, Oomph and his own imprint, Sampled Detroit. Some of his most notable remixes include work with fellow artists Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr, DJ Sneak, Brett Johnson, John Larner and Lawn Chair Generals, just to scratch the surface. His work has been featured on compilations by some of House music's heavy- hitters, including DJ Heather, Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Inland Knights, and a 50 Year Anniversary Collective for Technics Turntables. Chuck is constantly in the midst of many projects. He works with Jason Hodges as [Border Patrol] and most recently a release with Oliver $ which has somewhat of an anthem this year and has earned the #33 spot in Spin Magazine for best dance song of 2015.
In most recent news Chuck has just got back from a 3 week tour playing 3 shows in Berlin and 3 Shows in Amsterdam for ADE including a boat cruise hosted by Beatport and Industry Standard records playing alongside Kenny Dope, Cajmere, Oliver Dollar, Jesse Rose & Jason Hodges.
Now back in the U.S. Chuck arrived just in time to make a trip to Chicago playing a special set for Boiler Room in a tribute to Chicago & Detroit.
