DJ Cinema Royale

From the first appearance of Arne's Cinema Royale in 1998 at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam to this very day, he always remained faithful to his passion for soundtracks. His genuine mix between all kinds of movie scores and innovative music resonates in unexpected context and harmony, invites you to be part of the comfortable known and the pleasant unknown.

A lifelong experience within the dance scene and the infinite interest into abstract motion picture scores leads us into a unique sound that stimulates our open mind and that appeals to our limitless imagination. It is his strong sense for innovative electronic music and for unusual melodies that brought him into a new Area, named Cinema Royale, which expresses itself in a filmic playground, coloured with exclusive organic sounds and quality dance music.

Life is a movie!

Cinema Royale offers an authentic world of modern surrealism, invites you to the planet of famous and obscure movie scores, mixed and blended with organic and abstract electronic music. It is the field where James Bond drinks his Wodka Martini in Detroit and where Nino Rota jams with Jean Michel Jarre.

Cinema Royale has appeared in venues such as Paradiso, Winkel van Sinkel and Club Panama, and played for Rocket Cinema, T-Dansant, Ex-Porn Star, the Maison Royale Festival and Testlab amongst others.

He collaborated with the percussive movement Art in Rhythm, played abroad in Berlin, Madrid, Kiev, Brussels and Prague, compiled soundtracks for Fashion Shows, featured at all major Film Festivals, has a own Radio Show on DJBroadcast FM and played on numerous expositions, Cinemas and diners/restaurants.

Cinema Royale cooperates closely with Video Artist Sergio Ulhoa in their project called The Minx, and collaborates successfully with trumpeter Saskia Laroo and saxophone player Wouter Wierda amongst others.
