Covered in Skas are a 2 tone, Ska & Trojan reggae band, located in and around the home counties where they have a big following, Musically, They cover The Specials, The Selecter, The Beat & Madness but what sets them apart from most likeminded covers bands is their Trojan repertoire, covering some of the early reggae tunes from iconic bands and artistes such as The Maytals, Symarip, Johnny Nash, Dave & Ansell Collins, Lee “Scratch” Perry and Desmond Dekker to name but a few . All the band are lifelong Ska and Reggae fans and just like us, adore listening to the vinyl as well as playing the tunes as close to the original sound as possible. Their music really is a passion to them.

Playing the music that inspired two or three generations went down a storm when they played Folkestone’s Skabour Festival main stage in 2012. They had the massive crowd dancing virtually from the start of their set to it’s conclusion when they were joined on stage by Selecter legend Charley Anderson for their encore .
