Dalcista, the Dance music producer and DJ, hails from the vibrant landscapes of the North East of England, where a love affair with music began in the heart of Darlington in the early '90s. As a child, the basement of his family's town centre home was a gateway to turntables, powerful speakers, and the pulsating rhythms of dance music, providing the young artist with his first taste of the magical world of sound.

Beyond the walls of his home, Dalcista's formative years were coloured by frequent visits to a local nightclub managed by his father. It was here that he gained early insights into the inner workings of the clubbing industry, sparking a curiosity that would shape his future path.

Dalcista's musical odyssey unfolded organically, driven by a deep-rooted passion for the sonic tapestry of the era. His journey traversed through the realms of House, Techno, Trance, and Rave, each genre weaving its distinct thread into the fabric of his musical identity. Along the way, life's trials led him to discover the raw and transformative power of Hip-Hop. The lyrical & productive prowess of artists like Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang Clan, Dr. Dre, and Cypress Hill became profound influences, cultivating a true love for Hip-Hop Culture.

Around the dawn of the new millennium, Dalcista's diverse musical influences converged, creating a sonic melting pot of creativity. The sounds of Makina, Grime, Bassline, and Dancehall surged into his musical consciousness, driven by their electrifying tempos, mesmerising MCs, and clandestine underground parties. With vinyl & a Microphone as his instruments of choice, he took to the turntables and became a fixture at local raves and house parties, captivating audiences with his MC & mixing skills.

As the late 2000s dawned, Dalcista's passion for music ventured into the realm of production, where he crafted imaginative edits and bootlegs that ignited dance floors. His journey led him to the sun-soaked shores of the Canary Islands, Spain, where he DJ'd to international audiences. A residency at one of Lanzarote's cherished clubs allowed him to explore the full spectrum of his musical influences, from the depths of Hip-Hop to the heights of Techno.

Upon returning to England, Dalcista embarked on a musical pilgrimage to the bustling city of Manchester in 2009, where he delved deeper into the world of music, refining his craft. Subsequently, he made his mark on the musical landscapes of Liverpool, gracing various clubs and events with his electrifying sets. In 2015, he carved his own path by curating the immersive nightlife experience known as 'Drawn'.

Now, as we step into 2023, Dalcista makes a triumphant return. After a hiatus, during which he started a family, Dalcista reemerges with renewed vigor and creativity, determined to etch his name indelibly in the annals of the music industry.
