Dan Ascherl - DJ and Producer needs no introduction to the world of dance music. With a carrier spanning over 2 decades.
From hosting his own successful nights in London throughout 2003 – 2006, Dan was spotted by Honey Club owner Gary Turner.
This led to a prestigious residency at the legendary Honey Club in Brighton for the in house Saturday night promotion Seven Sins for over 4 years.
In that same year Dan was snapped up by The Gallery’s head honcho Gavyn Mytchell, offering Dan a Friday night residency for the Gallery in Brighton which also lead to regular play outs at the world famous Turnmills night club in London.
Word soon spread where Dan was soon playing for the heavy weights such as The Gallery, Vaccine, Electronic Sessions, Yes, Gatecrasher, Passion, to name a few.
From holding a residency for many years at one of the UK’s No1 dance clubs, Dan would often be thrown in to different situations, from playing peak time sets when headliners failed to show, or progressive warm up’s with a professional approach of teasing a crowd ready for the main act to take a dance floor to the next level.
He is highly respected for his legendary closing sets, and ability for holding a dance floor until the bitter end, with crowds pleading for just one more track as the lights go up.
Dan has taken control of dance floors from every elite DJ out , from the worlds No1 Armin Van Burren to the king of dance Paul Oakenfold, playing his unique blend of intelligent trance music.
Throughout his carrier Dan has always been into making music, but more as a hobby, Throughout 2007 with advise from his good friend John00Fleming, He made the switch from PC based production software to the industry standard Apple Mac studio Logic Pro. A decision he has not looked back from to this day!
Productions followed for the likes of The Digital Blonde, Katarna, Dj Acute, Steve Birch, Phil Metcalf, and Vaccine Recordings gaining a top ten status in the trance charts such as Mix Mag for Audio Illusion, as well as reviews in Trance.nu, for Hello From New York. Receiving support from the likes of John Askkew (Dec top 10 Chart) as well as DJ’s Sean Tyas, Jon O’Bir, Matt Darey, Fabio Stein, Mark Eteson Tom Colontonio, Sied Van Reil, Ruben De Ronde, Air Base, Sophie Sugar, Pedro Del Mar the list goes on.
Many of Dans tracks or remixes have been heard on the airwaves of Internet stations such as Afterhours.Fm, Above and Beyonds TATW, Armins ASOT, DI.fm. Trance Podium.
Since as far back as 2002 Dan has been on the airwaves of the internet as well as terrestrial FM radio stations, Starting out with a peek time weekly dance show on Bridge FM (Wales) Kik fm (Darwin Australia) to the Internet shows like Pure.fm, Deviant Audio.
His latest show A Global Trancemission broadcasts airs once a month on the massive dance music station Afterhours.fm, Trance Podium and Slinky.FM.

Dan continues to do what he does best, playing the tracks he seeks out bursting to share with fellow music fans, whether it be through his radio shows, or playing to crowds at festivals or clubs. 2010 sees more exciting new projects in the making, Dan and long time friend John00Fleming have teamed up to host a new night alongside John’s label J00F recordings. Watch this space!!
