Dan Newman is a Welsh underground DJ/producer who is predominantly known for his high energy track selections and creating a party style atmosphere on the dance-floor, whilst keeping his sets eclectic and unpredictable, by switching up between multiple genres such as house, hardcore, techno, trance and break-beat. A recurring theme within his sets/productions remains constant however, which is euphoric, fast-paced, 90s rave fuelled energy.

Dan has had multiple productions played on the likes of Radio 1 and was picked as 'One To Watch' by Jaguar on her BBC Radio 1 Introducing Show. His 2023 release on the legendary ‘Hooj Choons’ seen a remix of ‘Hold It Down’ by Joshua James and the EP had been supported by notable DJs such as Amaliah, Darius Syrossian and Jaguar, whilst his 2024 release on ‘Return To Forever’ had been supported by the likes of Ben Hemsley, Olivia and Gerardo Niva.

More recently in 2025 however, his 3 track EP ‘Rushing’ was released on Dusky’s imprint label ’17 Steps’ and has been championed by the duo throughout their 2024 tours. Dan has also caught the attention from heavyweights in the scene, where multiple unreleased IDs have been played by the likes of Job Jobse, Benwal, Morgan Seatree, Sam Alfred, Paige Tomlinson and many more, and have been heard at festivals and clubs all over the world. With a range of upcoming releases, it’s safe to say the rest of 2025 is looking promising for the young rising Welsh artist.
