With over 25 years in Dance Music, monikers include Dizzy Dee, Danny Spencer, Danny Mekanik, This Ain’t Chicago, Candy Flip, and with Brother Kelvin Andrews, Sure is Pure, Sound 5, and most recently Soul Mekanik.

DJ’d at venues across the world including London - Fabric, The End, East Village, The Egg; Miami - Amica Lounge, Shine @ the Shelborne; Los Angeles - Moon Shadows, The Social; Paris - Folies Pigalle; Milan - Punta Del Este, Hollywood; as well as Russia, Japan, Belgium and more, alongside the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, Maurice Fulton, Pepe Braddock, Justin Robertson & Jeremy Healey.

Currently at the most exciting point of his colourful career, Now. Integrating a wealth of experience from producing his own material, collaborating within the realms of house with a number of artists, remixing big name artists over 3 decades, including Sister Sledge, The Doobie Brothers, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, The Miracles, INXS, Blueboy, Paul Simpson & Adeva, 808 State & Inner City & Frankie Goes to Hollywood, to name but a few.

Danny's passion remains, throughout quarter of a century, loyal to House. Over the last 7 years producing & playing underground House parties in the UK Midlands, KnOwn as wOnK. With 2 annual micro festivals, AbUnDanCe, Staffordshire, wOnKsTocK, Wales and Wonk Cyprus an annual week long House Music retreat in Kyrenia, North Cyprus.

Danny has new material from Soul Mekanik in the ether ready for release, as well as nurturing a collective of artists for his own label, Wonk.
