Better known by his stage name DavidB, is an R&B/Inspirational/Gospel singer-songwriter, musician, vocal producer, dancer, choreographer, and entertainer.

In 2002, he recorded his first song written by himself, titled ‘First Love’ – produced by James Ritchie. This song was well received by his peers and all who heard it.

David was born in in Ile-Ife, Nigeria; he first began his musical journey at the age of 2, predominantly with his gift in dance. Imitating moves from legends, such as Michael Jackson, was a conspicuous indication to his family that music was indeed going to be a major part of his life, just as God had told them prior to his birth, hence his name.

David attended a vocal training course led by Elaine Hanley, affiliated with Owen Thomas’ Cultural Fusion, which made him more aware of his singing ability.

“I clearly remember the day I sang ‘Greatest Love of All’ by Whitney Houston, and Elaine gave me a standing ovation. It was and is still one of my most memorable moments”.

On the same day he sang the song by Whitney, he was approached by Sam Adebanjo with a proposition to be a part of a group called ‘One’ which later became D.T.W.G. (Desire to Worship God).

David was also a well-respected member of Manchester’s finest Gospel Choir – Manchester Sing out Choir, under the leadership of Vocal Genius – Wayne Ellington.

It was there he met Nathan and their friendship and interests began to bloom.

David has decided to embark on his music career more seriously. Leaving medicine to study a music industry course has proven to be one of the most difficult decisions he has made.

*Sings with Joshua Groban (Grammy Award Winner) and Heather Small.

*Releases 'No One but you' which had 10 remixes and gained local and international airplay.

*Gospel Music Awards Nomination for 'Best Newcomer' and GMA performance.

*Sold out concert in Manchester (The Homecoming: An Evening with DavidB)... loyal fans filled the place despite weather conditions.

*In 2009, David won the annual Loveworld Music Festival which gained him a large following across the globe.

*David featured on a track recorded for Haiti titled ‘One Love’. All proceeds from the record went into the relief efforts for Haiti during their tragic crisis.

*David released his debut single ‘All In Me’ on March 7, 2011.

*David released ‘Alright’ 08/11 which earned him 500 downloads in under 12 hours

.....More recently David entered into a gospel Talent Search by name of Time2Shine and became the 1st winners of 2011. From this the group 'Divine Divine' was formed
