Death Of The High Street (DOTHS) are an energetic wall of noise who’ve spent years developing
their unique sound, style and artistic performance. Post-punk, indie, rock, pop - it’s all in there…
Influences are wide and although artists such as Bob Dylan, Sleaford Mods, Viagra Boys, Carter
USM are noted as favourites, DOTHS sound nothing like any of them, and yet, weirdly, they sound a little like them all... It definitely makes for an interesting sound and live show.
Since their beginning in 2020 DOTHS have garnered attention and gathered support. Their debut
track “EXIT” was released by Alan Mcgee on his “It’s Creation Baby” label. Bringing radio play and support from the likes of Steve Lamacq (BBC6Music) and Mickey Bradley (BBC). Future releases reached an audience in America when their singles “Synergy” and “Chancer” were chosen as Track Of The Day on Seattle’s legendary station KEXP. With numerous plays on Frank Skinners Absolute show, it’s clear the DOTHS sound has captured an audience.
DOTHS have gigged extensively over the past few years. Up and down the UK - Manchester, London, Nottingham, Derby and more. Playing legendary venues such as The Dublin Castle in Camden, Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms and Bodega, Derby’s Hairy Dog and last year headlining numerous local music festivals and smashing a set to a packed tent at YNOT Festival. Their live show offers something unique, exciting and musically powerful.
After a decade of creating music, 2025 will see the release of their long-awaited debut album.
DOTHS have spent months crafting an album that captures everything they have been., are now and will become.
If you’re looking for something unique – sound, style and performance – DOTHS offer it.
