Dense & Pika are a British electronic production/artist/DJ duo compromising of producer/DJs Alex Jones (Hypercolour label boss) and Chris Spero better known to many by his Glimpse alias.
The duo first came into fruition in mid 2011 with a number of white label releases. It wasn’t long until they were noticed by Scuba and have since had multiple releases under their belt on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Scuba’s acclaimed Hotflush imprint and have branched out onto the elusive Hypercolour. Dense & Pika have also been showing off their remixing talents by reworking the likes of Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg, Digitalism, Disclosure, KDA, Leftfield, Maya Jane Coles, X-Press 2 and also Paul Woolford’s ‘Erotic Discourse’, which won the DJ Mag category for ‘Best Remix’ in 2014.
Touring across the globe on a weekly basis has seen the duo play at the cream of the world's clubs such the now legendary Trouw (Amsterdam), Panorama Bar (Berlin), Fabric (London), Gashouder (Amsterdam) and international festivals all over the world. Gaining club support from electronic music's finest DJ dignitaries such as Skream, Scuba, Chris Liebing, Breach, George Fitzgerald, Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Jackmaster, Dusky and beyond.
