DJ Dlux is a unique DJ who plays the best in authentic underground sounds.

With a career spanning over 36 years, Dlux first notable achievement was joining Brain Records in 1991 where he released pioneering Hardcore, Jungle and Drum N Bass working alongside the likes of Bizzy B, Lennie De Ice, TDK, DJ Hype and DJ Zinc.

Gaining more success by the late 90s within the UK Garage scene as a studio producer, Dlux has held many radio shows including becoming an original Rinse FM resident before joining the legendary Déjà Vu FM which he still runs to this day. Whilst being head honcho at Deja, in 2011 he also created the brand We Play Music, an original concept that combines live bands and artist performances, broadcast live from venues around London through radio and live video stream.

As a genuine specialist in underground music and production, Dlux is also known for mentoring and engineering for UK artists and producers including Lethal Bizzle, Big Narstie, Kano, Ruff Sqwad, Frisco (Boy Better Know), D Power Diesle, Same People, No Lay and Mobo winning 2Play.

In 2021 Dlux founded the company www.creativeengagementservices.com a platform that enables him to utilise his wealth of combined knowledge of the creative industry and youth engagement to create positive pathways for young people.

In recent years, Dlux has been releasing much his back catalogue of previously unreleased material (The Lost Dats) on vinyl only and had a huge amount of success. This has inspired him to go back to the studio and 2022 will see him release new material digitally.

Known for being a seriously skilled mix DJ & youth mentor, during the worldwide pandemic in March 2020, Dlux took up daily live streams, entertaining listeners to his regular radio show for what he thought would be a short stint whilst being at home on lockdown / quarantine. Dlux went onto broadcast for 100 days and 100 consecutive shows, which saw his shows reached new heights and new listeners who were drawn to his positive energy, and started to see his sense of humour, mischievous behaviour and banter, which many were not accustom to seeing on air. By the end of 2021 Dlux had streamed 500 shows continuously since the start of the pandemic and shows no sign of stopping.
