There are at least three DJs named DJ Lee.

The original DJ Lee is a legendary drum and bass dj, representing the Metalheadz crew.

Lee's involvement and history in the UK's underground dance scene dates way back to the late 80's. Since then, Lee has become a steady name on the circuit, known for his splendid dj sets as well as his involvement in Timeless, Vinyl Distribution and Atlas Recordings fame.

Starting off as a resident at the legendary "Brunel Rooms" in Swindon, Lee played alongside DJ's such as Doc Scott, Fabio, Grooverider and LTJ Bukem. His impression there was so great that other bookings began to roll in from all over the country. In 94' Danny Bukem alongside Leo Roche and Sarah Sandy started the groundbreaking night "Speed" at Soho's Mars club. Along with Fabio they started the first Drum n Bass night in Londons West End with a more mature music policy. They needed a resident that would fit in with the futuristic sounds of Bukem and Fabio along with Doc Scott and Kemistry & Storm. Lee was made resident at what has become such a pivotal event In Drum N Bass history. Lee was also made resident at the legendary "MetalHeadz Sunday Sessions" by Head Honcho Goldie and still plays for them to this day!!!

From here Lee went on to explore the European scene, being booked to play in Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Iceland to name a few followed by numerous tours in the USA, Japan, New Zealand & Australia. As well as playing all over the world Lee was also involved in the Timeless imprint, which has over the years released some of the finest drum n bass tracks to date by artists like Total Science, Digital, Spirit & Cause 4 Concern to name a few. Lee also started his own imprint called Atlas Recordings, which has featured talented musicians from all over the globe, including Austrian D.Kay and Lee himself for Atlas 001!!

Since then the duo have gone on to release tunes on Hospital, 31Records, C.I.A & Metro producing Liquid Anthems such as 'Touch', 'Pipe Dreams' & 'Manipulate The Universe'.

2005 was another busy year for Lee after numerous tours of eastern & mainland Europe,the U.S.A & regular visits to his residencies in Vienna, Budapest & Berlin and his home base the long running "Source" in Oxford, UK. He & D-Kay also had best selling releases on Metalheadz with the Summer Hits Waxed(featured on Friction & Zincs mix cds),Eternal Sunset,Tuning and The Rain,Take Some Time on Under Construction (D.O.As Label).

So In 2006 for those that don't know Lee, as well as being a DJ, is moving into the Premiership of DnB producers with more releases on Advanced(Manipulate The Universe Remix) and Desire on Dkays Brigand Imprint(1Xtra DnB chart No1),also look out for the long awaited comeback of the Atlas Recordings imprint. He is famed for being continually upfront with his selection making him one of the most exciting, & much sought after DJs on the circuit. Lee manages to please the true music connoisseurs as well as the casual 'good time' punters which can not be said for many DJs in the upper echelons of the DnB hierachy.

German trance producer, born in 1970 in Hamburg. Started working together with Nils Karsten in 2000. Involved in several well-known German commercial trance projects, but mostly known for being one half of the Megara vs. DJ Lee duo.
