Biography

Those of you who use Youtube will no doubt be familiar with "Freakyhead20" (aka Eeco Rijken Rapp). He was a pioneering contributer to the early days of Youtube, creating his own channel and he regularly releases videos and lessons on the internet channel. With more than 3 million clicks, he is probably the best known boogie pianist on the world wide web.

Eeco has been a stalwart of the UK Boogie Woogie Festival over many years, playing with his characteristic enthusiasm and his unique sense of humour.

Eeco is inspired by names such as Albert Ammons, Pete Johnson, Jimmy Yancey, Little Brother Montgomery, Monty Alexander, Oscar Peterson, Earl Hines, Teddy Wilson, Ray Bryant

He plays different style's of music from Boogie Woogie, Blues, Jazz, Swing, Stride & Ragtime.Performed at many jazz and boogie woogie occasions all over Europe, such as festivals in France, UK Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland and Holland.
