The group was established in 2006 by Ella Mesma in Leeds, and has since travelled extensively performing their shows and teaching and in 2008 expanded to London.

In 2007, the Company won ‘Best Show’ for their show ‘Andar La Gata’ at the European Salsa Champions at Salsa UK. The Company have had nominations the past two years and been runner up for Best Brazilian Teacher and Company with the Lukas awards.

Performances and Masterclasses have taken the company to the USA (Boston, NYC), India (Chennai, Mombai, New Delhi), Cuba (Havana), Greece, Denmark, Spain, Serbia, Sweden, Croatia and Finland.

UK performances have included Strictly Come Dancing, Birmingham NEC, Trafalgar Square (National Peace Week), T4 (Channel 4), Royal Armories (Leeds), O2 Arena (London Latin Festival), Mambo City, Floridita, Scala and Big Dance.

The Company have featured in music videos for TY, Franz Ferdinand, Submotion Orchestra, and performed for artists such as Major Lazer, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Drummagik, Heatwave Clients have included Redbull, Sagatiba, Havana Club, Sadler’s Wells, Scala, O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium, HBOS and many more.
