Elena Dana is a solo artist, singer and a songwriter, who has been enchanting London crowds for the last 2 years at prestigious venues such as Ginglik at Shepherds Bush, Soho Revue Bar and Betsy Trotwood in Islington. More recently in May 2008 she successfully debuted on the US anti-folk scene at New York’s famous Sidewalk Café.

Originally from Ukraine and now London based, Elena fuses her love of gypsy jazz music with a more contemporary anti-folk sound. Her mesmerizing set is an amazing journey and her unique vocals have likened comparisons to Bjork.

From her sublime acoustic guitar based tracks, her flexibility and potential is displayed in the well received dance tracks recorded by noted R&B and Soul producer Djinn. In addition Elena works in association with Absolute Vibes, a music collective, sweeping the London scene. Inspired by her world travels Elena has even played in India and Brazil.

Next steps for Elena include working with overseas producers, releasing an acoustic album, and building momentum on her London popularity by touring and building a following in the USA and Europe.
