Azúcar is an all-female Latin quartet (or almost-all-female quintet) with a twist: as well as covers of legendary salsa hits by the likes of Celia Cruz, Oscar d'León and Marc Anthony and the Cuban Buena Vista repertoire, this quartet offers a repertoire of salsa and Latin arrangements of dancefloor hits from the 70's up to present day, such as for example Superstition, Ain't Nobody, Valerie and Halo.

The quartet/quintet is led by internationally renowned composer and pianist Eliane Correa (Hans Zimmer, Mayito Rivera, Jimmy Bosch & more), and fronted by the exceptional Luisa Santiago on vocals – a composer, pianist and songwriter herself who is one of the most sought after musicians of the UK Latin scene. With over half a dozen international awards among them, this quartet/quintet delivers a unique take on Latin music at the highest quality.
