Ella Janes is a folk musician based in London. Her sound draws faithfully from the folk tradition with an occasional infusion of electronica, making her performances always varied, always fresh. Ella is currently preparing a live EP - set for release in early 2018 - while playing live across the UK and Europe, seeking touring opportunities.

Her major single of 2017, Burned Out, received early support from Frontier Music, who featured a raw, stripped-back performance across their platforms. The track beautifully manifests Ella’s latest preoccupations with time and space, combining her strong folk foundation with celestial pop mutations. Later that year, she performed a series of commissioned tracks for her guest appearance at the TEDx event ‘2037: The Future is Our Present’ in Rome.

Ella regularly performs around London and the UK. Notable performances include the Isle of Wight Festival 2015, as a support for Simple Minds and a resident at Soho’s Ronnie Scott’s. 2018 tour dates to be announced.
