Ensemble vocal Filigrane of Strasbourg, France was founded in 2006 by Jean-Philippe Billmann and brings together 22 experienced and passionate choral singers. The vocal ensemble prides itself on carrying out ambitious and varied musical projects, giving concerts in Alsace, around France, and further afield. The choir has performed in Germany and Luxembourg, and has taken part in the Mehrklang Contemporary Musical Festival in Freiburg. Filigrane has also sung several times in the United Kingdom, in London, Windsor and at Harris Manchester College, Oxford. In July 2018, the choir will undertake its first Scottish tour, giving concerts in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The choir has also participated in conducting masterclasses, as the pilot choir of Hans Michael Beuerle et Raphael Immos.
