Eon is a Belfast based DJ. Having begun his career as selector of house adjacent sounds he quickly gained residency at Belfast's legendary Night Institute parties, opening regularly for Timmy Stewart and Jordan Nocturne. Whilst his love for house will never die, and you can still find him playing it from time to time, as a lifelong metalhead he found house did not fulfil his need to express the darker emotions that underline the human experience, and soon started focusing on techno. Whilst the range of sounds he plays can comprise anything from slower, dubby, Berlin-influenced minimal techno, through to spine snapping schranz and acid techno rollers, his focus is on brutal, grinding industrial techno, as this best fulfils the need for aggressive catharsis he first discovered in extreme metal. This sound has led him to hold residency for Wonderlust Group, a most fitting home for such dark sounds. This residency has led him to support legends DJ Rush and DAVE The Drummer. Eon also holds residency for Belfast based Drum & Bass night AMEN, under his Defective Clone alias, and occasionally plays techy psytrance under his Gonzo Parker Alias. This diversity has lead him to play in many of the city's most notable venues present and past: Thompson's Garage, The Palm House, The Art Department, The Bot and Filthy McNasty's, as well as a variety of underground afterhours, including the notorious Annaghtek. Eon is currently focusing on fine-tuning his production skills to get material release ready.
